A Life Between Art and Medicine
Dr. Shazly’s story is one of passion, resilience, and creativity. From a young age, he was captivated by the world of colors and shapes, nurturing his artistic talents alongside his academic pursuits.
Early Inspirations
As a student at Al-Ahlia Preparatory School, he took the lead as the president of the Fine Arts Association, guiding his peers in creative expression.
His journey continued at Blue Nile Secondary School, where he honed his artistic skills and leadership in the arts.
Transition to Medicine
In 1975, Dr. Shazaly embarked on a new adventure, studying medicine in Romania. Although his paintbrush took a backseat during this demanding period, his love for art never faded.a
Returning to Creativity
After years of practicing medicine in Sudan and abroad, Dr. Shazaly faced an unexpected challenge: being diagnosed with Parkinson’s disease in 2019. Instead of letting this setback define his path, he reignited his passion for painting, embracing the canvas once again.
Artistic Revival
In 2022, amidst the backdrop of conflict in Sudan, Dr. Shazaly relocated to Sharjah, where he began sharing his artistic journey on Shazaly.S.Art.

Dr. Shazaly dedicates his work to his family, his wife, Iman Mohammed Al-Hassan, and his daughters, Dr. Ola, Aya, and Yousra, along with his grandson, Kareem Mahjoub TagElsir.
